‘YOU ARE A TALENTED CREATIVE FORCE’

When Linda Mellor invited me to write about my creative practice for the glossy quarterly magazine, Scotland in 4 Seasons, I had no idea what it would lead to and how motivational her words would be.

You are a talented creative force, and your art has expanded into your lifestyle products, a quarterly column could give people insight into your world of creativity and inspire readers in all sorts of ways. I am aware there are many active Scottish artists, but your work stands out because it captures the wild, vibrant beauty of Scotland and that's where the magazine's heart lies - in the wild places of Scotland.

As it nears the end of its inaugural year it’s the right time for the magazine to expand its page numbers as well as increase the page dimension too. It's a positive, progressive feeling taking these steps and part of the magazine's natural growth says editor, Linda @linda_mellor, a hugely talented freelance photographer.
Scotland in 4 Seasons Magazine started as an idea more than twenty years ago. In 2020, during the pandemic, Linda brought her original idea to life. “I had a vision of a magazine with lots of Scottish topics written by different people sharing why they love Scotland”.

“That's fantastic! I'm so pleased you'll be joining the magazine. I love how many women are involved and sharing their words and images”

YES! I can really do this, I told myself after reading this enthusiastic response.

And so, I look forward to sharing with the readers, features about my work, art fairs, challenges and celebrations, new creative strands, memories, and anecdotes.

The Winter edition is out on the 1st of December…...it would be great to see you there.
